Armstrong Electric began on August 13, 1976, and was incorporated on December 13, 1978. Our corporate charter is to perform all types of electrical work as dictated by our customers. The company began by specializing in heavy industrial work at the metal casting foundries, paper mills, and a naval nuclear fuel manufacturing facility based in the Central Virginia area. The projects performed in the company's infancy were primarily the very difficult projects requiring specialized labor, technical knowledge and equipment.

Of course, as with all companies, growth is required to maintain a stable, competent work force, therefore we expanded and began performing commercial, institutional and light industrial projects and maintenance.
